First established in 2001 by John Butler and Tony Butler, Lyonara has become Ireland’s leading provider of warehousing to the chilled/frozen goods sector, distributing both nationally and internationally. With strategic depot locations in Portlaoise, Roscrea and Mallow, and a team of dedicated staff, we offer Irish businesses high-quality chilled storage solutions. Storage facilities are located over 5 Acres with a capacity for more than 32,000 temperature-controlled pallets.
Lyonara has a large workforce of trained and experienced personnel that operates within stringent food safety standards. The management team have extensive experience and have formed business relationships with the leading Food and Dairy suppliers in Ireland and Europe.
Each location operates multi-temperature warehouses that meet the most stringent testing requirements for food storage. Specialist services include Blast Freezing, Tempering and chilled/frozen storage. These services are combined with industry-leading stock management systems, cross-docking capabilities and consolidated groupage picking.

With an extensive modern fleet of trucks, Adare Transport offers customers complete chilled and frozen food logistics services from collection to delivery. Adare Transport is a specialist international refrigerated transport company with depots in Roscrea and Portlaoise. Established in 1994 by John Butler, the company has grown to be a specialist in the transport of refrigerated food both in and out of Ireland.
Adare Transport is a BRC standard accredited company serving the meat and dairy industry throughout Ireland with a modern fleet of 22 trucks and forty fridge trailers.
